As we move out of summer and into fall, here on the Central Coast we can feel the shift in seasons. The evenings are cooler, the mornings brighter, and there is a crispness in the air that is palpable. Many of you are settling back into your fall schedules after a busy summer full of family activities and now is the time to get back to your scrapbooking, card making and other paper crafts.
After a quiet summer at Scrapbook Expressions, we are now preparing for the busy fall season. New inventory is filling our shelves and we are bringing in some great gift ideas for those of you interested in saving money and creating your own gifts this year for the upcoming holidays. To help you out we are offering a series of classes this fall that will feature a variety of altered albums and other paper crafts that will make great gifts or wonderful keepsakes for yourself.
This past month we received new school lines from Moxxie and Carolee Creation's Adornit, fall designs from Bo Bunny, Adornit, and Basic Grey, "Day Dream" from Fancy Pants, a black & white line from Doodlebug, several lines from K & Co., and a variety of chipboard albums, including several "word" albums, tools, and embellishments from Bo Bunny and Basic Grey. We have so much more on its way, including new product from My Mind's Eye, Bazzill, EK Success, Kaiser Kraft, Rusty Pickle, and American Crafts to name a few.
To kick off our fall class line up, Angie Dalziell will be teaching a word album class offered at two different times for your convenience (see schedule below). The $30. fee includes album and all materials needed to complete it. We also want to remind everyone that this Saturday, Sept. 20th, is the last day to sign up for our two day Croptoberfest scrapbook event. Due to lack of response at this point, this event may have to be cancelled, so if you would like to attend, call us today to register by phone!

Special Events
Croptoberfest--2 day scrapbooking event. Saturday, Oct. 4th, 3 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 5th, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The $60. fee includes gift bags full of product, light refreshment and prizes throughout the weekend. Our crops are from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. The $15. fee includes the use of our tools and die-cuts, along with scrapbook tips and ideas. Come share in the fun of scrapbooking with others. Beginners welcome!
To guarantee your space for our Friday night crops we encourage you to sign up as soon as possible as these events fill up quickly. Prepayment is required at the time of sign-up and is nonrefundable. However, should you have to cancel for any reason you may transfer to another crop, if 24 hour cancellation notice is given.
