April is off to a great start for us as we celebrate two years at Scrapbook Expressions! Many of you stopped by to check out the great savings on a variety of product throughout the store, take a peek at all the new product that has come in since CHA, and simply to wish us well at our second Anniversary Sale Event last Thursday. We truly thank you again for all of your support in keeping us going as the only scrapbook store on the Central Coast! Congratulations to Misti Ioppini for winning our raffle drawing and taking home a scrapbook treasure trove!!
If you haven't had a chance to come by recently, you can check out our website to see all the new product and vendors we have added to our ever-growing inventory! We will also continue our anniversary sale so it's not too late to take advantage of some great savings!! We now have new product from some of our favorite vendors, like Basic Grey, Fancy Pants, K & Co., Crate Paper, SEI, Daisy D's, Heidi Swapp, Hero Arts, Autumn Leaves, Colorbok, and My Mind's Eye. We have added new vendors to our store, including Little Yellow Bicycle, Reminisce, Technique Tuesday, and Kaiser Kraft. We also have gorgeous organizers from Creative Options. More product is on its way from Bo Bunny, American Crafts, and Amanda Blu to name just a few.
We still have space for our 2-day crop event celebrating National Scrapbook Day, which will be held the first weekend in May. We will begin Saturday, May 3rd, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. and continue all day Sunday, May 4th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost of this event is $60., and includes refreshment throughout the weekend, breakfast & lunch on Sunday, fantastic goodie bags, awesome prizes, and use of our tools and die-cuts. You may reserve your seat by credit card over the phone, if you can't make it by the store to sign up in person.
Our next technique class will be held the second week in May on Saturday, May 10th, from 10 a.m. to noon. If you are interested, please call or come by to pre-register as soon as possible. Please see below for details.

Beginning Scrapbook

Our beginning classes are from 10 a.m. to noon, and the fee is $20., which includes all the materials needed to complete a two page lay-out. All you need to bring are your photos. These classes are designed for first time scrapbookers and are very basic. If you have been overwhelmed by all the embellishments you see in a scrapbook store, this class is for you. We will show you simple and quick techniques to get your photos into albums.
Technique
These classes will help you to expand your use of tools and embellishments for your page lay-outs, cards, and alternative paper craft projects. Don't know what to do with chipboard? Want to expand your use of eyelets, ribbons, brads, dies, inks, etc.? Have you tried acrylic stamps? Want to make your own die-cuts? These classes are for you. We feature a variety of techniques that will help you expand your own creativity. All materials are provided, unless otherwise noted. Fee is $20.

Our crops are from 5 p.m. – 10 p.m. The $15. fee includes the use of our tools and die-cuts, along with scrapbook tips and ideas. Come share in the fun of scrapbooking with others. Beginners welcome!

To guarantee your space for all of our classes and crops we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Prepayment is required at the time of registration. All fees are nonrefundable, however, crop (excluding special events) and class fees are transferable to another event if 24 hour cancellation notice is given.
