I hope you are all getting a chance to enjoy this beautiful warm weather and clear skies that we have patiently waited for! At Simply Scrappin' we have been busy ordering inventory and rearranging the store to accommodate all of the new product. For those of you who haven't been in to visit us lately, we now have Chip Chatter, metal letters, and pressed flowers from Pressed Petals and darling stickers from Meri Meri. We have restocked and added to our Karen Foster, Rusty Pickle, Fancy Pants, Flair, Doodlebug, SEI, Scenic Route, Chatterbox, Daisy D, and Basic Grey lines. We have lots of embellishments, including brads of all sizes, shapes, and colors, and chipboard from Bazzill. We also have a variety of suede album colors
from Chatterbox and an assortment of elegant albums from Tapestry.
Just in this week from Rusty Pickle are Christmas, travel, and wedding paper along with matching tags. Sandylion stickers and more flowers and giant chipboard from Fancy Pants should also be arriving this week. Quickutz are on the way and will be in next week.
In addition to keeping busy with the inventory, we hosted our first big event on Saturday, May 6th, in honor of National Scrapbook Day. We had a full house of croppers all day with lots of food and prizes. One of our reps came in the afternoon and did "make and takes" with all customers interested. It was a fun day for all of us who participated in this special event and we look forward to this yearly tradition.

Crops
There's still room at our crop this Friday, May 19th, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Crop fees are $10., include snacks, the use of our tools and Sizzix die-cuts, along with scrapbooking tips and ideas. Come share in the fun of scrapbooking with others. Seating is filled on a first-response basis.
Prepayment is required to reserve your space, but is fully refundable if you give a 48 hr. cancellation notice. In the event we should have to cancel the crop for any reason you will not be charged.
June's crop will be held on Friday, June 23rd, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Classes
Tuesday, May 23rd, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
2 page layout, using Chatterbox paper, embellishments, and distressing ink. Fee--$20.
Tuesday, June 6th, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Father's Day mini-album using Basic Grey paper and embellishments. Fee--$20.
Tuesday, June 27th, 6 p.m.-7:30 p.m.
Techniques class using brads and eyelets. Fee--$15.
Classes need to have a minimum of four people to be held. Spaces are filled on a first-reserve basis. Pre-payment is required and must be received by the Friday before the class. Due to the cost of materials and preparation for the class this fee is nonrefundable, however, in the event that you are unable to attend the class, you may pick up your kit after the class at your convenience. If we have to cancel the class due to lack of enrollment or other reasons, you will not be charged. Class fees vary, ranging from $15.
to $25., depending on the project. All materials will be provided unless otherwise stated.
Memorial Day Weekend
Due to the Strawberry Festival in the Village of Arroyo Grande, Simply Scrappin' will be closed Saturday, May 27th through Monday May 29th.
